Adult Literacy Services

The library serves adult literacy learners in a variety of ways

Through a partnership with Adult Basic Literacy Education, the library serves as a location for adult learners and tutors to meet and work.
The library has a hi-lo collection of books. These books are of high interest aimed at adult readers, but require lower literacy skills.
The library also has a Speech Assisted Reading and Writing (SARAW) machine to assist people in developing literacy skills.
